30 जनवरी 2025 को स्वराज विमर्श यात्रा बापू के बलिदान दिवस पर विशाखापट्टनम पहुंची। विशाखापट्टनम से चलकर यात्रा बोयपाडु गांव पहुंची। यहां पहली बार समुद्र प्रदूषण से सैकड़ों 3 फीट से 6 फीट लंबाई बड़े आकार वाले कछुआ मरे हुए देखें ,चारो ओर बदबू ही बदबू थी। यह देखकर मन में बहुत दुख हुआ।
इसके बाद यात्रा राजा पेटा गांव, रेवू पोलोवरम, चिल्ला पट्टा मछली पलको के गांव में पहुंचे । यहां के मछली पालक लोग लाचार, बेकार, बीमार होकर विस्थापित होने को मजबूर हो रहे है। ये जलवायु परिवर्तन का प्रदूषण से विस्थापन हो रहा है। अभी तक हम बाढ़ – सुखाड़ एवम जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण विस्थापन देखते थे लेकिन आज समुद्र प्रदूषण व इससे उत्पन्न बीमारियों के कारण जो लोगो का विस्थापन हो रहा है, वो पहली बार बापू के शहादत के दिन समझ आया। इससे समझ आया कि, जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण लॉस एंजेलिस में लगी आग भी भारत में लग सकती है।
इसके बाद यात्रा अचूतापुरम पहुंची। यहां के सींच एरिया में ब्लक ड्रग्स कंपनिया बड़ी संख्या में लगाई जा रही है, जिसके कारण नदी का इतना बुरा हाल कि, इससे पहले भारत में इतनी गन्दी नाले और नदी नहीं देखी। यहां विकास के नाम पर विनाश हो रहा है। इससे ऐसा ही दुख हुआ जैसा सत्य – अहिंसा के पुजारी गांधी जी की हत्या से हुआ था।
इसके बाद यात्रा ने बीमली चिल्लपेटा तालाब का दौरा किया । यहां यह तालाब शहर की गंदगी से भरा पड़ा है। यहां एक जमाने में सुंदर पक्षियों का घर हुआ करता था, आज इस तालाब पर पक्षी देखने को भी नहीं मिल रहे। यह 48 एकड़ का तालाब 26 एकड़ का बचा है, जिसमें भी लोगों और प्लास्टिक का कब्जा हो गया।
इसके बाद यात्रा मुड़सल्ला लेक पर पहुंची। यहां इस लेक में जल बिरादरी के प्रयास से पानी से भरा हुआ है लेकिन इसके ऊपर सरकार ने डंपिंग ग्राउंड बना दिया है,जिसका गंदा पानी यहां आ रहा है। इसके बाद यात्रा लासंस,समुद्र के जगह को देखने पहुंचे। यहां जल बिरादरी ने आंध्र प्रदेश हाईकोर्ट में जल बिरादरी ने प्रदूषण के खिलाफ मुकदमा किया गया है, जो अभी चल रहा है। 13 फरवरी को इसकी सुनवाई है।

30th Jan morning Dr Rajendra Singh and the team left the hotel JAS at 6:30am and had breakfast at Geddam Bujji’s house and left from there at 7:30am as scheduled for boypadu village.
Examine the coast and looked at the dead turtles and interacted with local fisherman of Boypadu a fishermen village and all of them confirmed after establishment of Hetero Pharmaceuticals Factory in boyapadu and because of the pollution released from the factory led to the decrease of fish production and increase of the death of turtles and fish, the fish caught is having that chemical affluents released by factory, therefore people have stop buying fish from boypadu and rajapeta fisherman villages. The villagers have no way to live there so they have migrated to other places and their children and family are suffered with the polluted groundwater and ill health and other difficulties. Once upon a time very flourishing villages of Boypadu and Rajapeta become like abandoned villages now, this needs to be rectified. Dr Rajendra Singh said that this sad story of the sea has to be documented properly and presented to the governments till it is stopped, it otherwise see will not excuse you so you have to raise the voice tell the people documented properly and explain the people what wrong and restore the normal C of the sea and prevent this pollution. Further The villages villagers have urged to stop setting up bulk drug unit here in pykarapet and anakapalli district. what we have explained he is stopping the industries is not the solution stopping the pollution is the solution so we need industries but we don’t want the pollution the pollution has to be checked and peoples environment there to be there to check the pollution the last pond before release the treated polluted water into the sea the fish has to live for 2 days that is the condition of the pollution control board but this is not been implemented so hence 4th the people are allowed to see the fish pond before releasing the water into the sea and the pond last point should I have that kind of quality water the fish will survive there that kind of water released in the sea will not create any damaged to the sea also this is the story of boypadu & rajapeta.
Reached Revupoloram another fishermen Village at 9am interacted with the fisherman community people Ummidi Sanjeevarao, Kotta Revupolavaram, Karri Suribabu, Chelluri Bangarichitti, former sarpanch Koviri Bangari, Doda Nookaraju, Chelluri Yarrayya and other local leaders, what they said is that their village is facing because of pollutions from Hetero and Sai Marine, they have lost the marine life resources and their unable to catch any fish there and lot of people have migrated to other towns for employment. They have agitated for very longtime so far Govt did not act on their complaints. Mr Presingi Adinarayana State fishermen leader said that there should be and immediate interaction between the fisherman community and elected representatives and the government officials alongwith with the industries so that they can find a solution to the problem immediately and also APPCB must see that industries strictly implement the norms prescribed by them to prevent the pollution. The local MLA who is also the Home Minister should ensure compliance of norms by the industries. Dr Rajendra Singh advised unless suffers should raise the voice collectively and effectively nothing will happen, no government either the present government or the past once they will support the corporates unless there is a strong voice from the public, so the sufferers should raise your concern and also find solution to prevent this pollution and fortunately the present government is willing to listen and Mr PawanKalyan is the Environment Minister and is committed to prevent the pollution.
You have reached Pudimadaka met the local fishermen the situation is no different from other places Boyapadu, Rajupeta, Revupoloram we have visited in the morning, additional major problem here is the industries are releasing the pollution in a drain which goes into the sea without any treatment. After seeing the situation and hearing the sad news of animals and birds dead because of this pollution, Mr Bolisetty Satyanarayana Environment General Secretary sent the location and the field information (videos pics) to the Chairman, APPCB and other officials requested them to take necessary action within one month failing with he will sit in the location to draw the attention of the Govt till the issue is resolved. Dr Rajendra Singh said this is an Environmental Disaster and we have no right to do this and urged Mr Pawan Kalyan to address this serious issue.
Visited Chillapeta tank in Bheemili. The issue here is encroachment of 7 acres land and creating bunds in the tank area and untreated Sewage is indirectly connected with the tank and this is a short of a man made disaster which needs to be addressed immediately and restore the house of migratory birds.
Visited the untreated Sewage discharge point at Lawson’s Bay Colony and the situation remain unchanged
